Welcome to the Water Party! A celebration of clean water, modern technology, and the best of San Francisco's innovators, entrepreneurs, and highlighting the movers + shakers in this city.
Sarah Peck is raising $29,000 for Charity:Water in an epic bet that's becoming somewhat of a show-down. If she raises $29,000 before September 20th, she promised Scott Harrison that she'd swim a naked swim from Alcatraz to San Francisco. The only caveat? She'll only do it if the donations come in over that mark. (The Huffington Post column "Life Out Loud" covered the full story if you want to know more.)
San Francisco knows what it takes to make magic happen: with a little love, a lot of friends, some great live music, and unbeatable prizes (get ready!) -- we're going to throw a party that you won't want to miss, and that will definitely sell out. Every dollar of every ticket sale will go towards the fundraiser.
Featuring Jules Larson (http://juleslarson.com/) as the headliner, put on at the Gogame Headquarters (http://thegogame.com) a bounty of amazing prizes, wine + beer and some great food,we'll pack a room full of some of the brightest minds and biggest hearts we know in this city. The live event will be followed by more music and naturally, lots of dancing.
Every single penny of this party -- from the Eventbrite fees (waived!) to the location (donated!) to the headliner, food, and prizes -- is donated because people believe in the power of our city and the power of clean water. Every penny will be donated to charity, including every dollar of your entry ticket and every raffle ticket you buy.
